At the end of another crazy week, I am finding abundance and gratitude in the little things:
~ A fun family birthday party for my almost seven-year-old daughter!
~ A Friday night pizza dinner with the neighbors, complete with our children putting on a performance for the grownups. Highlights from the show included: “A Tisket, A Tasket,” “The ABC Song,” “The Itsy Bitsy Spider,” and the Pledge of Allegiance.
~ A successful audition last week ~ I’m joining a community danceline the Rockettes! I’m looking forward to fun weekends of dance performances for the holidays!
~ Cleaning my whole house today, including organizing the toys in my daughter’s room, cleaning out the fireplace, fixing a broken drawer in the kitchen, and mopping the floors. I love a clean and organized house!
This was über-productive me today.
Well, not quite.
~ Books. I am reading so many good books right now that it almost makes me sad I don’t have more time for reading! Somedays I feel there are just too many good books, and not enough time!
~ I got everything done on my to-do list today. Well, except cleaning out the basement storage room. See below.
~ Reading my book next to these lovely candles in the fireplace. Much more fun than cleaning the basement.
~ Finally getting the fall/Halloween decorations up.
~ Finding the art projects I purchased on clearance from Michaels last year in the plastic bin of said fall decorations. Craft time!
Serious concentration here!
~ I’m excited to be attending Bloggy Boot Camp next weekend. I am thankful for another chance to meet some amazing blogger friends, and learn more about the blogging world!
